This around 1880 ring, 18th revival, had a bad issue on the enamel front.
Repair proceed I attempted:
1/ filled the cracks with polymer clay, put it in the oven at 110 celsius for 10 minuts.
2/ colored the repair with permanent markers with blendes to lighten colors.
3/ applied resin varnish to secure the polymer in place.
4/ unpolished with nail buffer to get the mate effect it had originally.
Et voilà :-))
