While cleaning out my recently deceased parents home, I found this item in a box of items to be disposed of. It caught my interest because it so represents my mom who was a heavy smoker. But I cannot identify it. It appears to be a smoke container of some type. I believe the wings are cigarette boxes, the body may hold cigars, it has a striker which covers what may have held matches and the center pulls out and may be ashtrays.
It was red over metal. The paint is chipping badly. I think it is an airplane but maybe not. I would like to be able to identify it so I can see if it is complete and better understand if I am on the right track. I appreciate any help. Thank you.
That is very cool, and a smokers dream come true! lol I have never seen one before now, but a quick google search shows a similar one from the 1950's, and made in Israel.

Thank you Phil and Wayne. You encouraged me to keep looking. I did find it tonight. It is a rare piece made in 1920 although some say 1930. It is Henckels Aeroplane smokers companion. It is nickel or silver plate . I am missing the wheels. Otherwise it is complete. I am thrilled. Thank you again. Betty
