These wine glasses were designed 1902 (?) by Hans Christiansen for Thersienthal.
Hans Christiansen was one of the most important/famous jugendstil artists in Germany - he illustrated and made covers for the magazine/zeitschrift "Jugend" which gave "Jugendstil" it's name.
I think almost any wine tastes good, when served in these glasses..!
