This small Silver compact measuring 44mm x 44mm has a London import Mark, I'm not sure of the year, if you look at the photo with the hallmarks there is a fancy letter n, there is also .925 and a makers mark but it is very worn.
As far as I can remember the enamelling is Austrian. There is a white Guilloche border surrounding the picture. The picture is detailed with a rowing boat and a fishing boat and trees in the fore ground, the colours are bright and the enamelling is in good condition and it is a lovely little item. I would love to know the year it was made, also if anyone might know who the enameller might be.
