Bought it off trademe NZ. It's serial number is 11856563 dating it at 1893. It has the Ottoman carnation decals, and has a kidney shaped plate on the back. Runs well. Not able to find out where it was made so could be a 28 or a 28k?

No factory records were made public for these. If NZ followed Australia's patten, it will be a Kilbowie machine. If you email Singer at talktous@singerco.com they will tell you the factory. They will also tell you its a "3VS" which is actually VS3 :)
