This was my great grandma's chair that I would like to have reupholstered. It has horse hair for the seat cushion, to keep the value of the chair can I do a mixture of horse hair and foam? It is heavy, has beautiful carved arms, nailhead trim. On the seat of the chair there is a label that said Chicago Futorian but it doesn't look like Morris Futorian's style. I am wondering if he reupholstered it at one time? Can anyone identify the style, chair, etc? I would love any thoughts.

Don't know where you live. Sometimes the mail order catalogs of the 30's to 50's show the most similar examples that there are. It is usually referred to as "tub style" armchair, this style usually had a sofa to match. Gorgeous.
