This was one of my great finds this week. These beautiful signed earrings were lying with costume jewelry in a tray marked "50 cents". I looked on the Ti Sento website and this particular style retails for 85 Euro! That's about $77.00.
Bah hahahahaha!

You are so lucky Bonnie...seems like they haven't heard of the internet where you shop. Here in the states they look everything up especially jewelry. It's getting tougher and tougher to buy anything nice unless it's close to retail. Thrift stores around here are just not that thrifty anymore.
mikelv85 - this particular thrift shop is SOOOO busy that they just don't have time to closely look at everything, especially small pieces of jewelry. The fact that these earrings are plainly signed but still ended up in the 50 cent tray is surprising, though.
valentino97 - I do that, too. There are many second hand shops around here and they get stuff in every day. None of these thrift shops here that I regularly go to sell online. There are some very small pawn shop sort of places that do sell online, but their prices are still very reasonable. This Sunday there are FOUR flea markets, and I am going to hit them all! It's funny how people look and look but don't actually SEE...and I get the nice things left behind...like gold and silver... :-)
@nutsa - thanks! I have been doing this for more than 36 years, but a person still has to be in the right place at the right time and be surrounded by people who, in their eagerness to find a real bargain, overlook what is right in front of their noses.
