    This is ring my mom got form my aunt, who is long gone. And we don't have an idea what stown it could be. It is gold for sure, but murk is almos gone. Do you think you know how old it could be? Or any information would be grate! Thank you!

      Uh... is "when stown" for what stone?
      If yes, it seems to be an amethyst :-)
      I'd place it in thirties era.
