Brought this trunk from a flea market. Don't have the key. Can anyone tell me what kind of key fit this trunk?

Examine the latch to see if there is a patent number printed on it.

Efesgirl- It has mar1880 on it. Tryn to find the key that fits the dangling charm lock. Any suggestions?

I pick locks, so it would be no trouble for me, but you need to take it to a locksmith & they can make you a key.

      Blunderbuss2- Thanks a lot!

Bama, if you, or a friend, can pick the lock (those are easy), then you just take the lock to the lock smith. I could pop that in seconds, but I'm not there. The other option is, you can bring it to me . LOL !!

Blunderbuss2 - I wish you were here! It's unlocked but I need the key to lock it back. Look at charm hanging. That's the lock.

The pix is so dark, I wasn't sure. Just take the lock to your local friendly locksmith !

Hi Bama69, I have a very similar chest, do you know anything about it, such as where it comes from? the age? as well as the value? Thanks

There's a m mark on the front handle. Who is the maker and what key could fit this love charm lock?
