    Hello,
I bought this from a antique auction. Cloisonne and porcelain/glass picture. Lights up like stained glass when the sun shines thru. Can anyone read the artist's carthouce? Age, rarity?

This is a type of cloisonne-style painting developed recently in China. There seem to be variations, some using aluminum wires and perhaps epoxy enamels, others using powdered glass cloisonne enamels that must be fused in a kiln. If glass enamels were used, the piece is likely to be quite heavy. Because the colors are part of the glass chemistry, they are brilliant and unfading, and quite appealing.

I cannot read the signature, but you might try posting it to the Asian Arts forum, as many readers there are willing to generously offer their translation skills.

This link to a Chinese company in Shenzen seems to feature a picture similar to yours.
