    Signed-Don with fish symbol then '85'
    love the wave design
    8" tall
    I have no clue on this "Don" with fish symbol mark yet but if you have any idea please drop a comment.
    Found this yesterday in a local GW.

    for $3.25 before tax
    love my thrifting for pottery :)

      my 'guess' would be maybe it's a butter bell; so how easy would it be to remove the 'bell' top with it inverted?

      usually a butter dish/bell lid doesn't have a hole...this piece has a opening on the lid. If you were to store butter in this ...insects can get into it.

      did see a similar studio pottery piece called a coffee dripper; tho' the bottom looked more suitable for a mug than this one and the funnel was more cone shaped...
