This is a Chinese army doctor's field knife. They are said to have been made in the 20th Century and we can only hope that they were replaced with something better very early in the 20th Century! Very crude construction of brass liners with horn covers at one end which hold a thumb-lancet on each side. The tools are (clockwise from 10 o'clock): a hooked probe, tweezers with a slide button which locks them closed, tiny "hoe"-shaped probe, one of the lancets, scalpel blade (sharpened on the curved side), main cutting blade, saw. The saw, blade, and scalpel snap (more or less) as with a pocket knife.
