Expandro was known for making stainless steel watch bands in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. Certain ones now sell for a pretty penny. There's no information about their jewelry items - just the watchbands. There is nothing to find on the web about the company. I found two other jewelry item by Expandro on Etsy - necklaces. The sellers also had no information about the company.
There are no photos of my bracelet anywhere.
    How about that.

    :-))))))

    Thanks for looking/loving, CW friends,
    ~Bonnie~

Ken - I haven't been to the library in many years...I'm in the Netherlands.

What??? The Netherlands have no libraries???....... Oh, yeah, LOVE this bracelet, Bonnie. [;>)

NB - LOL! Of course there are libraries. It's just highly doubtful that I would find anything on a German company in a Dutch library.

You never know! Which watch bracelets sell "for a pretty penny"? Do you refer to a certain design/model? Is it a European thing/trend?
    5. Efesgirl Efesgirl, 8 years ago
davyd286 - yes, this is more or less a European thing. Depending on the style, age and demand, some of the watchbands are 100 Euro and more. The market is always fickle...
I have found no information anywhere about this company manufacturing jewelry, so I expect my bracelet is a rarity.

Hi Bonnie, this is an interesting find as usual with you. Don't know if you have already seen the attached link.

Hi OGF - no, I hadn't found that link in my search - thanks! I did find out that Expandro was made for a couple of other companies, but missed this one.
