These are some of the buttons in my collection. The first is a glass bird. The second is metal, and the third is metal with a Paris back mark. The fourth shows some of my waistcoat buttons, which are mostly glass.

Fantastic collectibles. I love my button box (huge) and going through it looking at the buttons, but none of them are this fantastic (or old!) . You must get so much pleasure from them.

Thank you, racer4four. I've purchased jars of buttons but most of my favorite buttons were purchased individually. I'm also lucky to have a friend in France who looks for buttons for me when he visits flea markets.
