    love these cactus. only found these at the market. don't know what they are called. beautiful colors. want more. imagine a garden full of them. can i clone them. will they clone from dropping color ball bits?
    i know this site will find me an expert. always does. love it.

      Love these!
      It appear they are grafted plants, the colored one having no chlorophylla grafted on a common cactus.

      I have blooming cactus in my front yard-- GLORIOUS, but they bloom hardy ever--when they do, I feel like celebrating. Yours are special!!

      i read the artical and have attempted to graft some myself.
      hope it works. dont see wgy not. will take a couple of month before i will know.
      will post if it works.

      PostCardCollector, some cacti bloom only once a decade. As hardy as these plants are, they are fairly temperamental. And it seems that the more care given, the less they like you. LOL.
      I just feritilise mine and repot occasionally (they need room to grow).
