    Nice figure of DARUMA - Father of Zen Buddhism . Japanese Meiji period about 9 inchs tall from a recent auction Picked it up due to price and not alot of oriental in my area where I live.

      ho2cultcha I do not believe its Sumida gawa. I have only seen a few figurines that were Sumida gawa and most of those had the normal glaze you would see on regular pieces. Figurines are rare to find compared to the other pieces.
