Opaline Glass Covered Dish, Alfred Becht Offenburg, Dental Instruments, 1929
I've had this for some years now. Bought in a local thrift shop for 1,75 Euro ($1.83). There is one in the Defense Museum Boden in Sweden. (copy/paste links).

Very cool item!! My wife works for a dentist and he collects all types of antique and vintage dental related items. But, I'll bet he doesn't have one of these. This is really very neat!
