Another find at the dump Two Japanese silver figures and a salt Pot with hallmarks but to small to photograph.
Not sure how old they are ? would be great to find out.

Geez, who takes this sort of stuff to the dump???
I know, it's crazy what people throw away. I try not to question it.
I work at the rubbish dump and find amazing items all the time. I got a lovely silver bowl with this load but it was badly dented when the people was throwing them out the van.
Some people are nuts...glad you are there to pick out the treasures! I watched a telecast of Antiques Roadshow (BBC version) which interviewed a mother and son who ran the local dump. The jewelry they had....OMG.....in the original boxes.....!!!!...Chinese jade, diamonds, rubies..........AAAH! They had about 20,000 Pounds worth just on the table and more at home!!
I saw the same episode, they got some great finds, all them saved from the landfill never to be seen again.
