    This piece was a real surprise for me at Goodwill today. i didn't notice the old repair on the lip till inspecting it this evening. There is something very special about this yunomi - with it's thick and crackled glaze and complex bottom. it may be a good subject for kintsugi. i'd love to know more about it.

      I had to look up what kintsugi was, but I would leave it as it is, it’s beautiful and I also love the unusual base

      thanks maryh. since i don't have the experience doing kintsugi, i probably will leave this piece as it is for now. it is a really beautiful piece though - esp for $1!

      i haven't figured anything about this yunomi, but i believe that it is quite old and really great!
