Newcastle Medicine Bottles

I spent many summers as a child visiting family in England around the Newcastle, Lobley Hill area. I often went out with my Uncle Ken (Hemmings) to boot sales and digging in dumps for antique bottles. I picked up several Newcastle on Tyne medicine bottles as a child. I currently live in Golden, Colorado, USA and we have a small coal mining town in our state called Newcastle. I met up with a long time resident about purchasing some glass mine insulators, the deal of which I made contingent on getting one of the proprietary medicine bottle in his collection....The attached picture shows one of my bottles from Newcastle England that reads "R. Emmerson & Sons, Newcastle On Tyne" river, and my other bottle from Newcastle Colorado reads "Max L. Schayer's, Newcastle Pharmacy, Newcastle On The Grand, Colo." river....I like the play on words.
