This is an unmarked copper-tone brooch. It is rather large. I have no idea who made it or how old it could be. I think, however, that it might look good on an oversized sweater or a jacket.
Thanks for looking:)
That is beautiful. Such nice jewelry was made in the 1950s/1960s/1970s.
Thanks, Efesgirl. I searched on line for more than an hour and found tons of leaf brooches - but none like mine. I guess I have to keep searching:)
Very nice - I think this is maybe 80's or even newer. Why? Because the original copper companies tried to imitate 1940's master Rebajes or popular 1950's Renoir. Both companies used best grade copper, and flipping designs over.... the copper quality (not perfect, not bright warm or glossy like the front) still has a bright, flat copper patina, not a finished and brushed treatment like this. THAT SAID - ha ha ha - I could be wrong, maybe a designer I don't know about :-)
Plus.... I also look all the time and I haven't come across this either.
Very lovely!!!
Many thanks, jscotto363:)
I love the design of it!
