I am not sure if this is a Tango era piece, or perhaps a little earlier. This Bohemian/Czech glass vase is made from two layers of cased glass, clear over pink. It has painted decoration of stylised floral sprays & swallows around the base & top. The vase measures 23.5 cm tall, 3 cm across the cut top rim, & 6.5 cm across the base.
I love the swallow, they always add appeal with their graceful shape.
The swallows were a big reason for me buying this (besides it being pink). I love the old school swallow/bluebird earrings & jewellery...have a bit of a collection of clothes with embroidered swallows as well. :-)
