    8 inches wide at widest point,
    3/8 inch thick lip at top,
    designs feel embossed or engraved to the touch,
    bought privately in the 1980s .
    asian.Need I.D....make,year made,manufacturer,history,number made,what used for,worth approx ? meaning of writing on bottom??
