    If memory serves these were from about the 1950s. Some called them "fuzzy cards"--I don't know the process, but the "flocking" was applied and then allowed to dry I suppose.
    The process. gave the animals, or whatever-- fauxhair. The hair didn't adhere too long. probably because of frequent patting and touching. It was soo tempting to interact with the cards. I found one today with all (?) of the flocking on--it is cute. But never seen in today's card inventories.
