Since there's been another electric fan or two posted today, I was inspired to get pics of one of mine. This a PORTABLE stock no. 800 made by the CHRONMASTER ELEC.CORP. of Chicago, who perhaps might be better known for their electric clocks. (?? I have one or two Chronmaster clocks banging around here someplace too...) Its blade is about 5" diameter and it features a swivel/clamp assembly to be able to easily attach it to the edge of a table/desk (or whatever) so to provide one with their very own personal 'refreshing breeze', no matter where one might be. I found it recently in a boxful of crap from a storage locker, and have replaced its power cord (the original rubber one had turned totally crispy-crunchy) and the felt in its clamp. (which was originally green and likewise crispy-crunchy) Other than that, a gentle cleaning and a few drops of oil have it running like new! :-)

That is super neat. I don't have one like it. I haven't even seen one like that. The style looks like later 1950s.
