    i found this at a junk shop tonight - cheap too. Roseville - but not sure what pattern. i wonder when it was made and if this is a desirable pattern or not. the small rim chip doesn't bother me because it's not from 3 sides, and people can restore these perfectly now. maybe i'll even learn how one day.

      @share, no, not all of them are factory's mark, and it's unfortunate, but many time we can trust the decor and quality to ID SOME PIECES of Roseville, below I have one post a while ago unmarked, with "Imperial" decor.

      so far, i've recognized fakes right off the bat. they are generally poor quality and roseville is pretty much always very good quality - of the painting and the details, etc... it's never sloppy like the fakes i've seen.
