Davidson Pressed Glass Amber Compot

Our local Oxfam shop is shutting down, and everything is half price, so I bought this bowl today. It was priced at £6.99, so at half that I thought I would get it as it's very pretty. I have spent ages trying to find out what maker etc. I thought it was pretty new, but then I realised it had a faint crown mark, and then I realised that Davidson marked his glass with a Crown and Lion, and I think I can just make out the tail of the lion, which dates it to 1880 to 1891. Actually, the mark that looks like a crown is supposed to be a wall with bricks according to some sites.
Can anyone confirm my thoughts on this piece of pressed glass?
