An old clock in Art Deco style. Can anybody tell me more about this clock? The clock still works has the words "8 days" and that it is Swiss made. Can anyone tell me more about what the meaning is of "8 days"?

When you wound it up supposed to be ticking for 8 days.
What a fabulous Art Deco clock! Love the overall design and numerals. I used to have a problem getting pictures the right way up. A tip someone told me, is to crop the photo, even by a small amount, for some reason that then makes them load the right way.
It is a lovely Art Deco clock! Is the clock necessarily Swiss, or does it just that the clock movement or mechanics of it is?
It's upside down????
