I have finally got round to looking through a bag of stones that I have collected over the last few years of rooting around in the bottom of jewellery cabinets and looking for bits & bobs, I am wondering if anyone can tell me more about this stone I have picked out.
My great-aunt had a ring with a similar stone, she called it smoky topaz.
Thanks pebble that's what I thought this was called but am not a expert so always like to get expert advice.i am sure your great aunt had style.
I'm no expert but it does look similar. Her and her sister certainly liked their jewellery, that's where most of my collection has come from ;)
You must have some nice stuff as the old jewellery was very well made.
