    From what I can find, this lamp was made from the Continental Art Company from 1947-1967 and was imported from England. I received this lamp from a friend of mine when I was doing a barn sale for him.

      They made this around 1968-1970 that is when they were making these large plaster lamps. The period coincided with many companies starting to make up these large plaster lamps in the later 60's to early 70's. Some companies lasted to 1980 or so. Some companies particularly abroad also produced a lot of pedestal/tables. Is your copy signed at all ?
