Worn surface, hard metal material. Found in krakow, Poland. Approx 2.5” tall. Really neat looking, like a little man. I figure it may be a key to a primitive style trunk or clock case perhaps.

From a technical point of view this is a form of a "split screwdriver" used for unscrewing caps/lids to service some form of equipment. It just made it more difficult for the average person to interfere with equipment that had a standard screwdriver slot. regards katsuri pottery
Could be the barrel wrench for the early Bergmann or MP 28-II submachine guns.
This was a "fuse" setter for explosive artillery shells in the mid 1800's. Used on both round projectiles and those that were elongated.
