    I picked this piece up a few days ago, and was looking for some helping ID'ing. I do not have much knowledge in the area of bronzes or asian antiques, but this does appear to have some age, and is very pretty. I can see two old repairs may have been done where the casting was very thin.

    I believe this is called rock casting but I am not sure of the age or of the country of origin. Any help I would be so grateful. Thanks!

      Hi rockbat, thanks for the comment! Yeah it is a very pretty piece. I wish I knew something about it. Qing Dynasty? Chinese? just not sure.

      I knew it was a beauty, but I didnt know much about it. Yes, the base is great as well. Fits perfectly too.
