FOUND THESE AT AN AUCTION. I THOUGH THEY WERE REALLY COOL. NOBODY REALLY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE SINCE THE BACKS APPEAR TO BE IN THE RAW IN THE LAST PHOTO BOTTOM TWO.. WERE THESE DEMOSTRATERS PEICES???? NO OTHER MARKINGS EXCEPT MICRO-METAL BALL REGISTERED TRADE MARK. ANY HELP WITH THE PROPER NAME WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. WHAT WERE THEY USED FOR, SOME SHAPED???? THANKS FOR LOOKING...

These were used to make the molds for cast pewter pieces. The curved ones were for mugs (steins).

Shouldn't they be in reverse, or have I suddenly gone dyslectic ?
    7. mikeigotit mikeigotit, 6 years ago
Blunder I was thinking the same, but if they are used to make molds, how do they reverse the writing in the process??
