Here's a few more from the 'old tools' collection. These three monkey wrenches (is there a more correct term for them?) were acquired separately over the years, and measure about 9", 15", and 18" long in turn.

The largest two seem to have formerly served 'railroad duty' somewhere, due to stampings on their fixed jaws. The big one is stamped "SPTCO/SSWRY". (I don't know what that means?) and the middle sized one is stamped "BN INC". (Burlington-Northern Inc.) Both these two have identical maker's marks with logo saying "DIAMOND FORGED U.S.A.", with model numbers "C718" and C715" respectively on one side of their movable jaws, the 15" one additionally has the words "NO EXTENSIONS NO HAMMERING" and the number 18 on its backside, the 18" one only has the number 3 on its back. The 15" BN is likely the newest of this group.

The smallest one has the script FORD (motor company) logo on its head (pic 3) and a 'M in a circle' logo plus the number two on the other side. Probably the oldest of this group, it has the words "MOORE DROP FORGING CO. SPFLD. MASS." on its handle.

Thank you SO MUCH to pajrr for translating part of the stamp on my big wrench -- do you know what the other half of it means? [as a so-called 'train fan' I should probably have already known all that myself, but... <headdesk>]

The SSWRY stands for St. Louis Southwestern Railway, which was a subsidiary of Southern Pacific Transportation Co. I came across your post when I was researching a Ford wrench I found
