Bought this a couple years or so ago but don't think I ever posted it. A January 1969 Nixon Inauguration Peace Counter Inaugural Banner / Protest Flag. I show a news photo from the protest - which I do not own (online research before I bought it) but shows a similar banner in "play". When one sees the stains and wear on this example, I have to think this was used that day - imagine it almost had to be. Not a massed produced artifact.

Love that dove of peace image, if only all the protests could have remained peaceful before unfortunate military aggression

I am very familiar with that "banner" as I was one of the people who printed them at a sign shop in Silver Spring, MD in January of 1969. There were 1200 of them printed on muslin cloth with green ink (that is what you have pictured) and 2400 of them printed on white poster board with blue ink. They were given out as coronation scarves before the parade and counter inaugural ball.
