Green elephant trinket box, any information about this fabulous little piece would be greatly appreciated! It is approximately 8.5" long, made in Japan, is ceramic glazed pottery.

Pretty elephant trinket box, love the jade green color! This is a nice large size box you can store items in. These boxes I think began with Limoges from France, afterward many less expensive boxes were made in Asian countries
