Very early oak school desk. Still a solid piece and heavy. Able to turn desk top for someone to be seated. ( Has an iron framework underneath the top) Two drawers- one for paper and the other for necessary items. Tiger oak slats on the top. Also has an inkwell . Still usable and all original.

What a great desk!! Can you imagine an inkwell still being a part of everyday school supplies in today's world? My, how times have changed.
