This is a post card from 1969 that a grandmother sent to her two granddaughters.
It is bittersweet because she sends her best wishes while asking the girls to help her mother with a new baby sibling, but includes the news that their uncle has been sent to the VietNam war.
I really love the style of artistry in color and graphics of the 60's.
The card is approximately 5" by 9"
Thought that was unique as well.
I agree, the graphical image is very colourful, I can imagine in the 60s get this in the mail, what a great enjoyable moment, thanks for sharing this very personal item.
