    The secondary wood is oak, so i assume that this was made in England - probably 1880s? is that when faux bamboo was big? i'm going to fix the marble and make it into a really beautiful potting bench. what do you think?

      If you want to be bored, work hard and restore/patch that marble I can give you lessons learned information. I had to learn to patch up marble the hard way....until I met someone older than me that laughed at what I was trying.
