      Well I just went through all of the patents (750) which were approved on June 30 1914 and this wasn't one of them! There was an electric saw namely the 'Power driven hand saw' which was patented by Ethan Dodds - https://patents.google.com/patent/US1102018

      Tayls , it looks like it says 1914 to 1921 ... I have 2 Stanley Crowe safety saws like this

      @ Dave - It does. But unless I am missing something, the patent should have come into effect on June 30 1914 (according to the saw plate) and as such be listed in the patent documentation as patented on said date for record purposes.
