Just got this Simonds hand saw and starting to clean it up. The saw has the price of $2.00 etched into the blade and a medallion with 2.00. This dates the saw to 1914-1916. It is in great condition for a 100 year old saw. Simonds is still in business today but the stopped making hand saws in 1926.
