I'm not sure what this is! It seems to be pressed glass, as there is a line up one of the puppies. the base is frosted. It could be a lid, or a paperweight, but it is adorable. A dog - maybe a retriever, with 2 puppies. I have no idea of age etc, I just liked it and hope someone knows something about it. Ok, it seems this is one of RCR or Royal Crystal Rock glass figurines. I believe RCR is Italien. Thanks to Tallcakes I now think this is made by Cryastal D'Arques!
I have found one on ebay described as Royal Crystal Glass Figurine, Labrador Retriever and Pups. I am trying to find out more about Royal Crystal!
found many of these listed as unknown maker and several as Cristal D'Arques, happened upon one with paper label (tho' fully frosted):

Thanks Tallcakes, just when I think I have it solved! Mine does look like the Crystal D'Arques one, but mine only has the base frosted.
