Anybody watching a University of Alabama football game sees fans wearing this hat. If you had watched Bama in the old days(pre 1984) you would see their great coach Paul "Bear" Bryant wearing one and know where the fedora originated as a fan symbol. I picked this up cheap at a thrift store a while back. It's made by Park Royal Limited Exclusive Design. I don't know when it was made, they've been around for quite some time. It's got "The Bear" on one side of the sweatband and "Roll tide" on the other side. The last image is a rare seldom seen actual photograph of the reclusive camera-shy Toyrebel modeling the sacred hat.
To my good CW friend, Vinyl33rpm, LSU poured their heart into last night's game, their defense gave Bama the stoutest test this season and never gave up.They have a great team, a great coach and GREAT fans! It takes me a week to recover from watching the Tide play in Death Valley, THE iconic sports venue of College Football. It was a slugfest, as usual, of two powerhouses. I salute you and my other LSU friends(there's a lot of them in Montgomery)
