    I've had these for awhile. They sit on the upper corners of my china cabinet. One is more of a typical gargoyle and the other is an elephant gargoyle!

    My cousin in NYC married a stone sculptor from France who learned how to make stone gargoyles from his grandfather. We just spent a few wks together in Mexico - which was loads of fun!

      I first became aware of the use of these when I read the book, 'The House With The Seven Gables', by the Author, Nathaniel Hawthorne..A descriptive detail he gives of the home in the plot.
