The good old days when a major store issued refund bearer checks for only 3 cents was not so long ago. This one is dated Jan. 1959!

FWIW I still pick up errant pennies when I notice 'em discarded on the ground at the gas station/grocery/etc...not that I *do* anything with 'em then but drop 'em in an old glass jug on my dresser, but whatever...? ;) <LOL>
