    The day before at around 10 a.m. actor Stepin Fetchit crashed his car into the el pillar (pictured above). Early Sunday morning Fellig photographed the wreck then came here and posed this group of children, most likely returning from church or Sunday school, by the pillar. (A. Fellig photo)
