I might be crazy, but I couldn't resist buying this camel at an estate sale today. It's ceramic, it stands about 10 inches tall and is about 10 inches in length. I've included a photo of what I assume is the artist's signature, which appears on the underside of the camel.

Can anyone assist in identifying it? Any help is most appreciated!

Could your very colourful camel be an alpaca?

I had the same question about alpacas as well as llamas. The neck doesn't really look like a camel's neck. A quick Google search showed that neither alpacas or llamas have humps!

The humps could be baskets? There's the outline of a blanket that the 'humps' sit on.

      I never thought of that!
