Picked this up at an Antique Market. The 8 x 10 photo is of The Dallas Ft. Worth Spurs Baseball Team. The team was in existence for only 6 years. 1965-1971 Member of the Texas League.
It was a AA team that fed into the Chicago Cubs, Houston Astros and the Baltimore Orioles. I’ve seen team pictures from 1967, 1968, 1970 but none in the earlier years and I’m wondering if maybe this is one of them ? Anybody’s help would be appreciated.
The Bat Boy in this photo may be a young Cal Ripken Jr. Future Hall of Famer, His dad “ Cal Ripken Sr. “ was coach for a year or two.
