Looks similar to the step ladders that were made in South Paris Maine by the Flexable Flyer Sled Co???

This is a vintage folding library step ladder. I have seen a good many of them when I was a kid. They were made by many different companies and you will find many of them online.

      Hi

      Solved it!

It is a copy of a "Hatherley Lattistep". Patented in the UK in 1882 and 1883 in the USA. The USA patent expired in about 1900 so I guess it was made just after that ..patent copied.

      https://patents.google.com/patent/US286617

      Thanks for the advice

      regards

      Paul
