    I recently inherited this wonder table. My mom called it a Library Table, but it may actually be called a Writing Table.
    I was hoping somebody would know some history on this table, or let me know where I could find out more about it.

    I don't know why the photos are upside down, I tried attaching them several times.

      If you read the FAQ's you will understand why the photo's are upside down. The site rules also contain useful information for the few who bother reading them.

      Posting properly will get you the desired answers. You will live through it and perhaps repost rather than us standing on our heads to view this. I say this in jest to make a point, don't take offense, take a hint.

      Here’s what works if u r using your phone to post pictures:
      Choose a picture, then edit it in some way...such as change size; it really doesn’t matter what you edit about it. Then post it and you will be amazed that the picture posts correctly oriented.
      Do the same for each picture.

      Probably around 1860 to 1900 or so. Very nice condition and I believe one of the Irish crafted this. The carving definitely is.
